Thank you Emmy! There are different dimensions in this painting. At the time of this painting i was working with a community organization for the safe transport of nuclear waste through our county.

Artist's Description

This painting is about communities/individuals coming together reaching for peace and working together for a healthier world. The yellow circle is spiritual representing harmony and wisdom. It also represents solar energy and awareness, as the universal winds blow, the cogs and wheels turn.

About Myra Maslowsky

Myra Maslowsky

Myra Maslowsky is a visual artist who has specialized in oil painting for over 40 years. In addition to having her art work in private collections, she has exhibited at various galleries in the Washington, D.C. and Pittsburgh area. Her work was displayed at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in the Art Anonymous Exhibit for emerging artists. Her design for the Party Animal Project was accepted by the D.C. Arts and Humanities Commission, and chosen by the National Air and Space Museum to be displayed on their grounds at the National Mall. For several years, she has been a curator and exhibitor for Summit Connection at various International Embassy Exhibits in Washington, D.C.
