Artist's Description

My mother ran a streetcar diner in Pennsylvania beginning in 1945. It was a wonderful place to grow up. She was a Steelers fan, so I painted this with the yellow and black colors of the Steelers in mind and the feel of a football. The diner was called Rosebud's Diner after her (Rose), and her children (rosebuds).
