About Myra Maslowsky
In 2008, her work was displayed at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in the Art Anonymous Exhibit for emerging artists.
In 2002, her design for the Party Animal Project was accepted by the D.C. Arts and Humanities Commission, and chosen by the National Air and Space Museum to be displayed on their grounds at the National Mall.
She has been involved in numerous fundraising activities and grants for community art programs. For 10 years, she has been a curator and exhibitor for Summit Connection Embassy Exhibits presented at National US Embassies.
Myra is a past President for the Takoma Artists Guild (TAG), a nonprofit organization. She was one of the TAG founding members in 1982, and served on the Board of Directors for over 20 years.
She is an adjunct faculty member for the Montgomery College Continuing Education Program.
Myra received her A.A. degree, with honors, from Montgomery College and B.A. in Fine Art from the University of Maryland.
